Just wanted to make a clarification to my previous posting.  I was welcome to attend open mics as previously stated. Not being welcomed to perform, let alone enter the premises of the open mic was incorrect.  I was supplied incorrect information.

See what I just did?  I owned up to a misunderstanding.  If more people adopted that approach and treated others with honesty and respect instead of using them as doormats, the world would be a better place.

I only said I felt my safety would be compromised because that’s what recent history lead me to believe.
